Thanksgiving!!

We had a really great Thanksgiving. Cameron was given an extra surprise and got put on call Tuesday, and then got the rest of the week off!!!! The last three weeks he has been working on the OB floor in Allentown, which means he's only been home on the weekends. It was pretty tough having him gone so much, so it was really wonderful to get to have him around for so many days.Since we didn't know for so long when he was going to get home, we didn't make any plans until Wednesday night. We decided to spend the day in Lancaster, and it was a blast. We walked around a bunch of Amish shops and looked at their fun Christmas decorations, as well as a little farm we found. Then we went to an all you can eat buffet at the Fireside Tavern, and ate a TON!!! Caleb ate more than any of us (at least pound for pound), but we all enjoyed a huge dinner.

It was a great day, and we ate such a big late lunch that none of us were hungry until the next morning. :0) Thanksgiving also was Caleb's 17 month-iversary, so here he is with Penguin that morning, and also Caleb and Samuel enjoying playing with Thomas.Speaking of trains, just south of Lancaster is Strasburg, where they have a huge train museum! The museum was closed for the day, but we drove around and saw tons of trains, including the craziest motel where every room is actually a caboose!!! Samuel was in heaven, and just loved running around and seeing so many cabooses. So all in all, it was a very perfect Thanksgiving.

Yay! Several days in a row being all together! I'm very happy for you it turned out that way. Heaven, indeed, for Samuel being around all those trains. Awesome!
